The unique charming hotel offered a cozy atmosphere.
I was disappointed with the cleanliness. The room was not clean and had stains on the sofa. The bathroom air conditioner was dirty and moldy. I also noticed a hole in the ceiling where the smoke detector used to be, very concerning .

The hotel was located just next door to Avalon Pier as well as the grounds. Our room was cozy, incredibly comfortable, with a private bathroom and the balcony, for example. The breakfast was light, there was plenty of food to chose from. The venue location was amazing and good close to everything. It was nice for getting to Avalon Pier.

What stands out, both good and bad
The location is fantastic with easy beach access and fine pier views from the deck. Snacks and wine every evening was a good surprise.
Multiple cleanliness concerns persisted. Stained furniture and issues with room maintenance.

I had a blast hanging out by the pool and checking out the awesome beach just a few minutes away. The place was super chill with plenty of snacks and drinks around. The outdoor lounge area was perfect for unwinding. Just a heads up, the Wi-Fi could be a tad spotty sometimes, but it didn't ruin my overall fun 🌞

The Captain's Quarter was a cozy retreat with fine views and a fab balcony for sipping sunset drinks. Plus, the daily snacks and evening wine gatherings were a perfect touch to elevate our chill vibes! We also sunk our teeth into the nearby OBX Taqueria for some bomb tacos-can't go wrong with that 🍹
A couple of security concerns had me raising an eyebrow. The unlocked first floor and a wobbly toilet seat were a bit off. Didn't love the lack of hot breakfast options-no fresh goodies allowed, just packaged snacks. Guess you gotta bring your own breakfast game 🤷♂️

Proximity to the beach ensures easy access for sun and surf lovers. The daily happy hour features complimentary snacks, a nice touch after a long day in the sun.
The unplugged entertainment is a letdown. The TV in the bedroom can be a hit or miss. Parking proves challenging with tight spots, especially when other cars are in the driveway during peak times. The outdoor seating areas suffer from wear, with some picnic tables showing signs of neglect, like broken legs that can lead to unpleasant surprises.

The location is really good, just steps from the beach and a quick walk to the local pier. The pet-friendly atmosphere, especially with the convenient ground-level room access. Daily snacks and the provision of wine were good touches. The space felt a bit cramped at times, and the Wi-Fi connection was not very reliable, hard to stay connected. A pleasant stay with fantastic amenities for pet owners.

The proximity to the beach made it effortless to enjoy sun-soaked days, and the expansive balcony offered fine views during sunset. Having a full kitchen in the Captain's Quarter was a great feature for making snacks after a long day of exploring. The lack of a hearty breakfast option was disappointing, with only packaged snacks available in the morning. The Wi-Fi connectivity was unreliable .
